The heating was on a bit too high. I couldn't find any info on local attractions in my room.

Breakfast was pretty good-I especially loved the cozy atmosphere in the bar for meals! And can we talk about the bed? So comfy! I could've just stayed there for four nights.
Eating in the crowded hall was like a game of musical chairs. My back didn't appreciate the chair height either!

We explored the coastal walk with amazing views and hit the Lochmaben golf course, where history meets fun. The venue is beautifully refurbished and offers lovely rooms and good food at Mr Pook's kitchen. Perfect spot for groups looking to unwind and enjoy the outdoors!
Our check-in was a bit delayed, made the start of our stay less smooth than expected.

Couple seeking a cozy stay will enjoy this
The food was really good, especially the authentic curry we had for dinner both nights. It was expertly prepared. The cozy atmosphere, and our hosts were really good too ensure our comfort.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but the quality made it acceptable.

Attending an event in town made our stay here quite memorable. The food was exceptional, especially the authentic curry dishes we couldn't get enough of during dinner. The ambiance was cozy, and the staff were incredibly accommodating, even arranging breakfast for us at an earlier hour without any hassle. The location felt peaceful, just a short stroll from town, which made it great for exploring the beautiful countryside.

Oh, the Manchego ratatouille was a cracker, bursting with flavors and showcasing the best of local produce! Plus, the King Room we had was dead comfy with a lovely sitting area, and the food throughout was great, getting rave reviews from all the locals. Can't forget those Tunnocks tea cakes, pure genius!
A bit cheeky though. Cleanliness could've shined a tad brighter. We had to nudge for clean bedding on arrival-yikes! Cobwebs in the bathroom felt a bit dated.

Perfect stay for us and our pup!
We had a lovely 2-night stay! The staff were super friendly and even spoiled our dog with attention. Our room was spacious and clean, and we really enjoyed the great food. Having a dog-friendly place made it all the better, but parking was a bit tight. A special getaway!

The room wassuper clean and cozy, with quality bedding and a nice sitting area. A real treat was the breakfast. The homemade food was really good, especially the delicious curry I had for dinner both nights. It's clear that they focus on using local produce. The atmosphere felt cozy and inviting. There were a few hiccups. The shower took a long time to warm up and reach proper pressure. I noticed some areas could use a bit of refurbishment, like the bathroom fixtures. Still, the dining experience really shone, and the views from the lobby were fantastic. I enjoyed my time there and would consider returning if those minor issues were addressed.
